On May 13, it was learned from Chaozhou Customs that since the Belt and Road Initiative was put forward, the value of ceramic trade between Chaozhou and the countries along the Belt and Road has continued to increase. In the past five years, Chaozhou ceramics worth more than 10 billion yuan have been exported through customs supervision to 54 countries along the Belt and Road, including Saudi Arabia, Turkey, Thailand and Indonesia. In the first quarter of this year, Chaozhou exports of ceramics totaled 1.517 billion yuan, up 0.54 percent year-on-year, of which over 30 percent went to countries along the Belt and Road.
